We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and our infallible guide in matters pertaining to conduct and doctrine. We believe in one God, manifested in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
We believe that Man is a created being, made in the likeness and image of God, but through Adam's transgression and fall, sin came into the world.
We believe that salvation is the gift of God to man, not a product of our human effort, and is received by faith in Jesus Christ. This salvation produces works acceptable to God.
We believe that man's first step to God is repentance. The new birth is necessary to all men, and when fulfilled produces eternal life.
We believe that baptism in water is by immersion and is a direct commandment of our Lord, and is for believers only. It is a means of identifying with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection.
We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to those who are believers and is received subsequent to salvation. This gift is accompanied by the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit Himself gives utterance.
We believe in the doctrine of sanctification as a definite, yet progressive, work of grace, commencing at the time of regeneration and continuing until the consummation of salvation.
We believe that healing is for the physical ills of the human body and is wrought by the power of God through the prayer of faith, and by laying on of hands. It is provided for in the atonement of Christ, and it is the privilege of every member of the church today.
We believe in the literal return of Jesus Christ and in the resurrection of the just and the unjust.
We believe that the Bible teaches eternal punishment for those who physically die in their sins without believing in Jesus Christ.
We believe in remembering the Lord's death until He comes by regularly taking Communion together. The bread symbolizes His broken body and the cup represents the new covenant in His blood which provides us forgiveness and relationship with God.
We believe in the laying on of hands. Power, anointing and any other necessary quality can be transmitted from one person touching another. Laying on of hands occurs in both the Old Testament and New Testament as a means of transferring spiritual blessings.
